“All you need is Love...” (The Beatles, 1967)
It was an early morning. He approached her and woke her up with a tender kiss on the cheek.
- Good morning, my love, - he said looking at her half-asleep, but as always, with charming eyes—the reflection of his world. She smiled with her perfect smile and replied with a kiss.
- Honey, your coffee is ready, he added, and gave her a red rose, for which he was awarded with another kiss. They had breakfast together as usual, having different and sometimes even silly, but at the same time, lovely discussions with each other ...
Finishing his second coffee, he slowly went to the balcony and looked at the ocean, which was flooded with all the colors of the rainbow. The ocean was raging peacefully and quietly at a time when palms were humbly bowing to the greatness and beauty of the landscape. He didn’t hear how softly she, barefooted, walked up to him and hugged him around the waist from behind and put her head on his strong masculine shoulder. He turned to her and hugged her back. The silence lasted a few seconds, but those seconds seemed like an eternity for those loving hearts.
- Hurry-up dear, we should be on time, he said and added, I will bring the car while you get ready.
- All right, - she said, and went back home. Adjusting the car, he enjoyed those seconds of silence, which were the essence and all the charm of their relationship and their ability to understand each other perfectly. And so she appeared— her gait like the graceful gait of a princess. Work, as always, was monotonous, and routine, and only their short call to each other made their day lively. After work he picked her up and they decided to have dinner on the beach, right where they had become engaged. They never argued about places where to lunch or dine, even if one of them offered to have it in the most secluded and deserted place. And now they were sitting in a small restaurant, whose owners were always happy for their visit, because for the past seven years, they visited this place once a month. The owner approached and greeted him asking how they were and, while she was nicely talking to the owner, he replied that he remembered the old days when they had come here for the first time. Although he was not sentimental, it was the only thing that had always carried him off into the distance to his dreams, memories and thoughts. The evening was the sound of music by Elton John, them dancing, and forgetting everything but each other's company. After thanking the owner, they came out at dusk.
- Let’s walk a bit, she said, to which he sweetly smiled and took her hand. Slowly and quietly they slipped barefooted on the waterfront of the Indian Ocean, and only the sunset was a silent witness to this paradise of harmony. They returned home when it was already dark, and sitting on the balcony of each other's arms and wrapped themselves in one big blanket, they looked at the sky and started counting the stars ... It was just one day of paradise for them, which seemed to last forever ...
Waking up, I realized that it was a dream, but a dream in which I would like to live ...
If I could meet God, I would ask him to give me this chance to live the rest of my days with her...
